Case study on Mobile Automation for a Leading e-Learning Giant

The client is K-12, a vocational and Automation training company and an international organization offering tertiary and professional education. The client also welcomes students, staff, faculty, and librarians while training staff and libraries around the world.

The Challenge

InfoTech has partnered with the customer to meet their online Mobile Automation testing needs. As a result, the Client witnessed the blocking of receiving the application on PDAs by opening it in a search engine. Problems include pressing data, sorting, keyboard and internal settings, turning photos and videos on and off, etc. – some of the things that caused a customer to switch to a mobile phone and access InfoTech for mobile testing.

The solution

InfoTech helped the customer design and implement a full test mode through mobile testing. As the customer faced several challenges in Automation machine learning, network interface changes, etc., InfoTech helped them by embarking on strong on-demand research and development. The latter chose Appium as the most effective tool for automatic testing of mobile phones. A highly flexible tool that provides visual support, Appium comes with CI and CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc., and supports both real-time devices and simulators.
