Accenture Acquires Ergo to Expand Data and AI Capabilities

Accenture acquired Ergo, an Argentina-based data-driven company that helps organizations develop a data-driven decision-making culture through the use of big data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI). Ergo’s 200 data professionals will join Accenture Cloud First’s data and artificial intelligence division. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Accenture’s Cloud First capabilities will expand to support data-driven innovation for customers in the Hispanic region of South America, including Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.

Buenos Aires-based Ergo uses people-centered design principles to provide data solutions that help companies make better choices. Founded in 2004, Ergo combines technology expertise with customer-centric consulting to integrate data and AI across the enterprise and create a trusted source of information.
