Snapdragon compute platforms, Windows 10, and Microsoft Education empowers students in South Africa

A new video from Qualcomm Snapdragon shows how regularly connected PCs at the Kwazamokuhle school in South Africa help connect to the internet. Before regularly connecting multiple PCs, schools only had ten computers. No older computer can receive updates because it cannot connect to the web. Regularly connected PCs can connect directly to LTE networks, allowing PCs and new students to connect to the web.

Kwazamokuhle University in South Africa is rural and does not have the infrastructure to connect to the internet via broadband or cable connections Qualcomm Snapdragon. Dlamini Qaphela, a professor at Kwazamokuhle School, said that “students have nothing because they cannot get information.”
